In the biggest game nobody cares about, the NFC topped the AFC 30-21 in the 2009 NFL Pro Bowl. Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald won MVP honors with 5 catches for 81 yards and 2 touchdowns.

“It was fun to get out here and have a good time with these guys. It’s always a great event to be able to come out here and enjoy a great season with friends. It was an honor,” Fitzgerald said.

Sunday’s game ended the Pro Bowl’s 30-year run in Hawaii — next year it will be played in Miami, a week before the Super Bowl.

The NFL hopes the move will increase interest in the meaningless game.
