By now we do know that Joey Barton of Newcastle has been sentenced for his attack on fellow teammate Dabo.

Although I would not really call 4 month suspended sentence and 200 hours of community service any kind of punishment – he basically pulled a Lindsay Lohan.

But his former teammate Dabo has spoken up and called upon Newcastle to sack Barton’s ass.

Well some would argue it is easy for him – he is in Italy and a safe distance away.

Dabo called Barton a coward and thinks even though Bolton already expressed an interest in the player, Newcastle should make a stand and sack him. Well I can understand where he is coming from – not only did Barton beat him while he was down, Dabo almost lost an eye because of the incident.

Dabo stated: This is not the first time he has had trouble with the law… He attacked some people in Liverpool recently… English clubs teach you lots of lessons, but in this case they truly lack ethics and morals… Newcastle have invested a lot in this guy, and they do not want to lose a lot of money. The club does not care a damn about the law – and it shocks me.

Oh yes a soccer club that only cares about money – shocking!
