Pacquiao Fight Didn’t Sell Out Because of George Bush

Manny Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum knows why the Pacquiao vs. David Diaz fight didn’t sell out — the reason? President George Bush.

“There’s one guy you can blame, and that’s George Bush,” Arum said. “With gasoline prices the way they are, people just can’t afford to come in from California.”

If fans can afford tickets to a Pacquiao fight I’m sure gas prices wouldn’t be a problem. The real reason the fight didn’t sell out is because David Diaz sucks and everyone knew Pacquiao would destroy him.
