This is 8-year-old Adam Bender. Adam was born with a tumor in his left thigh and was forced to have his leg amputated after chemotherapy didn’t work when he was only 1 year old. Today Adam enjoys playing baseball with all of his peers.

Joey Chestnut is the best hot dog eater in the whole world after defeating Takeru Kobayashi in the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on Coney Island.

“It’s just incredible,” Chestnut said afterward. “It was a little bit messier than I wanted it to be, but I got them in me and I got them down. That’s what I wanted to do.”

It’s official, Joey Chestnut is an American hero.
