Peyton Manning has Knee Surgery
Indianapolis Colts star QB Peyton Manning has undergone knee surgery to remove a bursa sac from his left knee. The procedure will keep Manning off the practice feild for 4 to 6 weeks.
“Peyton had been receiving conservative treatment for an inflamed bursa sac in consultation with the club’s medical staff since February 2008. This course of treatment was productive until Peyton experienced increased pain and early signs of infection,” Colts president Bill Polian said. “Peyton will meet with the press as normally scheduled at the opening of training camp.”
Without Manning the Colts are crap, luckily he’ll be ready for the regular season.
