Security at the US Open failed big time on Wednesday night when a fan ran onto the court and kissed Rafael Nadal on the cheek.
For the most part, Nadal just laughed it off.
“For me, it wasn’t a problem, Nadal said. “The guy was really nice. He said ‘I love you’ and he kissed me.”
The fan, Noam U. Aorta, will be charged with third-degree criminal trespass and interfering with a professional sporting event. He faces up to one year in jail and $5,000 in fines. But atleast he was able to kiss his favorite tennis player. At the end of the day, we’d say it was all worth it.
