Rafael Nadal made history at the French Open on Wednesday, winning a record 30 consecutive matches.

“I’m Very happy for that,” Nadal said.

Nadal is attempting to become the first player to win 5 French Open championships in a row. Wednesday he moved into the 3rd round by beating 72nd-ranked Russian, Teimuraz Gabashvili 6-1, 6-4, 6-2.

At this point it would be hard to bet against Nadal.
