Rafael Nadal won his record fourth Rome Masters title by beating Novak Djokovic 7-6 (2), 6-2 on Sunday.

“For sure it’s one of the biggest wins of my career,” Nadal said. “It’s always incredible to win in Rome.”

With the win Nadal extended his win streak on clay to 30 consecutive matches.

“I had my chances,” Djokovic said. “He overcomes the pressure better than me, that’s why he’s the best in the world. But overall, I’m pretty happy with the week.”

Nadal is near impossible to beat on clay.
