After months of speculation, the Oakland Raiders have finally fired Lane Kiffin and have named offensive line coach Tom Cable their new head coach for the rest of season.

“I reached a point where I felt that the whole staff were fractionalized, that the best thing to do to get this thing back was to make a change,” Owner Al Davis said.

“It hurts because I picked the guy. I picked the wrong guy.”

In other news, the Oakland Raiders remain the biggest joke in the National Football League and it will stay that way until Al davis either sells the team or dies.
