Rays Beat White Sox; Advance to ALCS
Last years worst team the Tampa Bay Rays will play for a spot on the World Series after beating the Chicago White Sox 6-2 at U.S. Cellular Field on Monday.
“It means everything. We’ve been at the bottom of the barrel for so long,” Rays center fielder B.J. Upton said.
“I think there was a point in time where people didn’t even know who we were.”
The Rays will now face the Red Sox Friday night in the best of seven AL Championship Series.
