In a not-so-surprising move, the Detroit Lions have fired Rob Marinelli after he led the team to a historic 0-16 season.

“You can’t go 0-16 and expect to keep your job,” Marinelli said.

Even though Marinelli played a huge role in leading the Lions to the worst NFL record ever, nobody around the league has called him a bad coach.

“I can’t say he’s a bad coach,” quarterback Dan Orlovsky said. “I just think he was put in a really difficult situation.”

He’s not a bad position coach, but as a head coach he obviously stinks. I don’t care who his players were, even a mediocre head coach can lead his team to atleast 1 victory.

Lions fans, don’t forget to stock on on paper bags for next season.
