A footballer who is not into scrounging money from the tabloids. Who would have thought it was possible?

Ryan Giggs, of Manchester United fame, gave an interview to GQ. And he said a mouthful about his fellow soccer players who sell exclusive rights to weddings and other such thing to tabloids.

Ryan Giggs stated: «You get offered money for your wedding, then for your kids, new houses, holidays… We earn enough from football and sponsorships, why do you need any more?… It’s tempting, but you have to make choices.”

And lets not forget, its is usually not like Brangelina who give the money to charity. Oh no they do spend it on themselves.

The only surprise is I never thought I would hear a soccer player expressing such an opinion.
