Serena Williams barely beat her older sister Venus 7-6 (6), 7-6 (7) in their U.S. Open quarterfinal match late Wednesday night.

After the match an exhausted Serena talked to the media.

“I mean, I feel like I should have a trophy now,” Serena said. “Unfortunately I don’t, and I have to go to the next round.”

The 4th seeded Serena will face 6th seeded Dinara Safina in the semifinals who just recently beat Flavia Pennetta 6-2, 6-3.

In the other semifinal match Jelena Jankovic will take on Elena Dementieva.
