Even without Steve Nash the Phoenix Suns found a way to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 118-111 on Sunday night largely thanks to another great performance by Shaquille O’Neal who had 33 points on the night.
“It’s what I do,” O’Neal said. “I’ve been doing it since 1992. If you don’t believe it, Google me.”
In a losing effort Kobe Bryant still managed to score 49-points but the rest of his team gave up too many free throws to win the game.
“It’s tough to win when you gave up that many free throws,” Lakers coach Phil Jackson said. “We gave up 37 on Friday and 42 tonight. You know, that’s tough.”
Apparently Shaquille O’Neal has found the fountain of youth.
