Stephanie Rice (Australia) set a world record on Saturday in the Women’s 400m Individual Medley, dominating the race that saw Kirsty Coventry (Zimbabwe) finish second and American Katie Hoff finish third.

Rice’s win gave Australia it’s 400th summer Olympics medal.
