Surgery Not Needed For Sam Bradford

Oklahoma fans were relieved on Monday night when coach Bob Stoops reveiled Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford will not need surgery on his sprained right shoulder. preliminary reports say Bradford will only expected to miss 2-4 weeks.
Everyone’s different in how they heal, the soreness, how they handle it and how quickly it dissipates where he can move and be comfortable again throwing the ball,” Stoops said after practice on Monday. “Anywhere from two to four weeks is what we’re anticipating.”
Stoops said their still waiting for one other doctors opinion, but so far they’re expecting Bradford back by time they take on Miami on October 3rd. Before then they face Idaho State and Tulsa, both of which sounds like easy wins, but without Bradford they’ll have a hard time winning either match-up.
