It’s the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby this Sunday, reminding us that there’s no better place to watch the Derby than from the Churchhill Downs infield. The infield is thousands of people participating in debauchery and drunken insanity. While there’s certainly some hot craziness going on everywhere at the Derby, the infield is most especially not the family friendly version of the Derby you see on NBC. If anything it’s closer to Mardi Gras than the bleachers with it’s big hats and mint juleps.
