Tiger Woods has called out Ernie Els for being lazy and not working hard enough during his recovery form major knee surgery in 2005.

“Ernie is not a big worker physically and that’s one of the things you have to do with an ACL injury,” Woods said. “I feel pretty good with what I’ve done and I think Ernie could have worked a little bit harder.”

Woods is the greatest golfer ever, but that doesn’t give him permission to call out other players for being “weak.” He can’t just assume Els didn’t work hard to recover. We know he suffered the same sort of knee injury last year, but no two injuries are exactly the same. Woods should know better than that.
