Titans clinch #1 seed in AFC
The Tennessee Titans crushed the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-14 Sunday afternoon, clinching the number 1 seed in the AFC.
“It sets the tone for the playoffs in the AFC,” Veteran Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck said.
Head coach Jeff Fisher hopes his Titans can ride their momentum all the way to the Super Bowl.
“This was not a statement game by no means,” Fisher said. “It was a momentum game. We needed to build momentum for the playoffs and the bye week by playing well and winning the game. The bonus is the second game here at home.”
Before this game all the NFL “experts” were saying the Steelers were by far the best team in the league — it’s amazing how quickly they forgot about the Titans dominate running game and their frightening defense.
