According to sources, Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable punched his defensive assistant Randy Hanson over a disagreement on August 6th. Hanson suffered a fractured jaw, but has not pressed charges as of yet.

“The victim didn’t even want any police action taken,” Napa Police Lt. Brian McGovern said, “but we were following hospital policy that authorities be contacted in cases where there may have been an assault.”

On Monday Cable refused to comment on the incident.

“It’s an internal issue, I’m not going to comment on that,” Cable said.

The regular season hasn’t even started yet and the Raiders are already a disaster. Is anyone surprised?
