Tony Romo has reportedly dumped Jessica Simpson just one day before her 29th birthday.

“She is heartbroken,” a source told People.com. “She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.”

Although his timing was very bad this is the best thing that could have happened to Romo’s football career. Simpson was an obvious distraction for him on game days and she took time away from his daily preparations.

And lets face it, she was getting too fat for comfort.
