Morgan Pressel hot chick helps win cup

The United States of America won their third straight Solheim Cup on Sunday with a 16-12 decision against Europe. The victory was mostly thanks to a clutch performance by Morgan Pressel who beat Anna Nordqvist, 3-2.

“This is so important to us,” Team USA’s Morgan Pressel said while trying to fight back tears. “It’s not about pride. It’s not about money. It’s about country. It’s about our teammates.”

Juli Inkster also played a big part in the victory, and at 49 she is the oldest player in Solheim Cup history. After the match she tried to convince all of her teammates that it was the last time she’ll participate in the event.

“Well, I’m not doing a Brett Favre, but it is,” Inkster said. “I want to come out and watch. These girls are great. They’ve got a lot of young talent, and it needs to be passed down right now.”

Great performance ladies! We’ll be expecting the 4th straight next year.
