The United States men’s basketball team is heading towards the medal rounds to face Australia after dominating Germany 106-57.

“Nobody is going to beat them. No way, it’s just not going to happen,” Germany’s Chris Kaman said

So far Team USA has easily defeated everyone they’ve faced, but Kobe Bryant knows they have to keep their focus if they want to win the gold.

“We feel like we’re playing very well right now, but you have to keep in mind it’s single elimination,” Kobe Bryant said. “You can’t afford any slip-ups.”

Australia knows they’ll have a hard time dealing with the Americans but they’re up for the challenge.

“The tournament is decided by easy baskets, and with America it’s hard to get a shot off, and it’s hard to get the ball past the half-court line, and they beat you down the floor and get layups,” Australian coach Brian Goorjian said. “But if you can get your defense set, you’ve got a chance. No one I’ve seen has been able to do that, and that’s our challenge.”
