Warren Sapp thinks Jon Gruden should end up in KC
Warren Sapp thinks the Kansas City Chiefs should fire Herm Edwards and hire his former head coach Jon Gruden.
“He would do a fine job in Kansas City,” Sapp said. “Why not? The thing that would really be exciting for Gruden in KC is that he’d have a strong-armed young quarterback to work with. Hell, Tyler Thigpen damn near saved Herm Edwards’ job.”
Gruden will be successful wherever he ends up but it won’t be in Kansas City. If new general manager Scott Pioli has learned anything from Bill Parcells and Bill Belichick, he’ll hire a defensive coach.
