Y.E. Yang upsets Tiger Woods for PGA Championship

Unknown 37-year-old South Korean, Y.E. Yang upset Tiger Woods by 3-strokes at the PGA championship on Sunday afternoon. More surprising than the loss itself, it was the first time Woods lost in 9-years when leading by two shots.
“I did everything I needed to do, except for getting the ball in the hole,” Woods said. “Just didn’t make the putts when I needed to make them.”
Coming into the event Yang was ranked 110th in the world. One would think going head to head with Tiger Woods would have surely gotten to his nerves. That wasn’t the case as Yang was able to keep his focus and pull off one of the biggest upsets in recent memory.
“I tried to master the art of controlling my emotions throughout the small wins I had in my career,” Yang said after the win. “I think it turned out quite well today.”
Although we’ll probably never hear his from him again, congratulations to Yang! He played an outstanding round of golf on Sunday.
